The course aims of offer basic knowledge about how you go from a business idea to a thought-through business, and to develop you practical knowledge about running a business and what it means to be an entrepreneur.Learning outcomes (after completion of the course the student should be able to)

The course includes 12-13 workshops with related readings and two assignmentes. Workshops are aimed at active participation and to increase knowledge around the business development process.Organisation
Instruction is given in the form of mandatory workshops where active participation will raise awareness on relevant issues such as team composition, funding and how to practically start a business.The course is offered in collaboration with Venture Cup Väst

The examination consists of at least 80% mandatory at workshops specified in the course-pm and submissions related to the Venture Cup competition.The course examiner may assess individual students in other ways than what is stated above if there are special reasons for doing so, for example if a student has a decision from Chalmers on educational support due to disability.
