Course specific prerequisites

The Degree project may be commenced after successfully passed courses of 120 hec. The Degree project's scheme, as well as its participants, must be approved by the tutor before work is begun.

Aim

The work is a vital part of education and an essential part of the quality assurance of the respective programs. The student will demonstrate the ability to critically and independently utilize, systematize and reflect on experiences and relevant research and thereby contribute to the development of the profession and the development of knowledge within the profession and education reflect character and demonstrate the ability to Occupational problem solving. The thesis is for students to develop advanced knowledge, understanding, skills and attitudes in educational contexts. The thesis should be in the end of the training and gain a broad understanding and synthesis of previously acquired knowledge. The overall aim of the thesis is for students to demonstrate the knowledge and skills required to work independently in their professional profession.

Learning outcomes (after completion of the course the student should be able to)

- Acquire and apply advanced knowledge in the field of technology education program including insight into current development, - A holistic approach to independently identify, formulate and manage issues and analyze and evaluate them on a deeper level to the art, - Plan and, using appropriate methods, analyzing and evaluating data within the given framework and be a theoretically and methodologically sound reasoning, - Identify appropriate, apply and critically evaluate methods in relation to a chosen scientific issue, - Critically and systematically use knowledge and to model, simulate, predict and evaluate the events on the basis of relevant information - Under the specific thesis to identify issues regarding the role of technology in society with regard to environmental and ethical issues, and - Orally and in writing to explain, for the given target group, discuss information, problems and solutions with the highest standards of structure, formality and language and defend a scientific study.

Examination including compulsory elements

For a thesis to be approved, the following: - Approved planning report - Approved thesis report - Approved presentation and defense of the thesis - Approved oral and written opposition on another degree - Attendance at two other presentations - Completed any program-specific compulsory modules of course pm In order to pass the course required that all learning outcomes for the course are met. The thesis is graded in the scale 5/4/3/supplementing/fail. Failed work leads to a new topic must be selected and a new supervisor will be appointed.
