Course specific prerequisites
Have completed 60 credits within the International logistics programme according to decision C 2023-1692.Aim
Project (Part A): To allow students practical application of previously acquired theoretical knowledge under realistic conditions and to provide a solid foundation and understanding of future studies. The practical part is also intended to allow students to reflect on their own learning.Assignment (Part B): The assignment takes the form of report writing and should by relating to previously obtained theoretical knowledge to describe how they are applied in practice. The report shall also include an analysis of the specific market and the company's role / position in its segment to put it in a larger context. The course concludes with a presentation of the report.

Organisation
The student applies for internship according to instructions on course webpage.The student and the host company is planning contents during practice along the company's circumstances. Planning must be approved by the department.
Prior to undertaking clinical practice begins held an introductory lecture (subject content and writing instructions).
About halfway into the course a first text is handed in for feedback given by department of Language and communication with the main focus on the text, structure, and continued writing process.
A revised text submitted for the so-called peer-response online. Department of Language and communication and department of Mechanic and Maritime Science (M2) is available as a resource and controller, but the main work is done in response groups according to instructions.
Submission of examination takes place at the end of the study period. M2 assesses the report's content and department of Language and communication assesses the text itself. Credits in the course is reported provided the assignment and acceptable report is submitted. Revision on content and text can still be required.
Presentation of internship and report is made in exam week in present study period. Instructions for presentation can be found on course homepage.

Examination including compulsory elements
Part 0108 (12 hp, Del A) is examined by internship and assignment on course homepage.Part 0208 (3 hp, Del B) is examined by approved peer-response, report and presentation.
The course examiner may assess individual students in other ways than what is stated above if there are special reasons for doing so, for example if a student has a decision from Chalmers on educational support due to disability.
