This course aims to help students from the second year of the undergraduate program to develop their expertise in various architectural issues and digital skills through collaboration. The purpose is also to inspire creativity and a passion for experimentation, and to train students in working in groups. The course has a theme: Students use digital and manual tools and methods in a design process to explore, manipulate, and materialize transformations of objects and spaces.Learning outcomes (after completion of the course the student should be able to)
- Present conclusions and results from their studies of the course themes using digital and manual tools and methods.- Test working with experimental combinations of digital tools and methods.
- Analyze and generate perspectives on the theme of the course.
- Plan, execute, and present a group study.
- Analyze their own role in the creative process of the group, particularly in light of their current year and their past studies.
Content
The different themes of the course are addressed in lectures, reading, seminars, and practical exercises. Students are divided into groups. The course concludes with each group presenting proposals for solutions for an assignment within the framework of the theme.Organisation
The course is planned and led by a teaching team. The teaching team is responsible for the organization and content of the course. Students are divided into work groups that include participants from the two first academic years. All students will work with both course themes. The student groups are given individual guidance during the course.Literature

The course is planned and led by a teaching team. The teaching team is responsible for the organization and content of the course. Students are divided into groups . The student groups are given individual tutoring during the course. If the result is not considered as a pass in the course, then supplementation must be completed in accordance to written instructions and assessed in the next subsequent re-examination period. If this primary supplementation does not result in a pass and further supplementation is then required, this will also be notified in writing. This secondary supplementation will be assessed in the subsequent re-examination period.
