The Water Environmental Engineering (WEE) Lab is a research and education facility that provides infrastructure for experimental research focused on water, the environment, environmental biotechnology, energy materials and resources, and sustainability.
Introduction
The Water Environmental Engineering (WEE) Lab is part of the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering, and a research and education facility that provides infrastructure for experimental research focused on water, the environment, environmental biotechnology, energy materials and resources, and sustainability. Collaborating with stakeholders from the urban community, we address engineering-science problems through both applied and fundamental research. The WEE Lab contributes to high-quality education at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Our lab is equipped with a wide range of instrumentation for analyzing water and environmental samples and assessing various physical, chemical, and microbial parameters. Additionally, we collaborate with laboratories across the campus and externally to provide tailored support for the unique needs of each research project.
Experimental Research Areas
The WEE Lab conducts experimental research and environmental chemical analyses, pioneering advancements in applied materials, water, and soil chemistry. Our specialized segments focus on critical areas such as Wastewater & Resources, Stormwater & Contaminated Water, and Drinking Water & Sustainable Water Systems.
Main research areas and overview of ongoing research projects:
