Om kursen
Course description
The aim of the course is that students will attain deep understanding on how to solve problems in nonlinear solid and structural mechanics. In the course the students will bring their knowledge in continuum mechanics, material mechanics and finite elements together. Computer assignments will serve as practical training for the students concerning numerical solution of nonlinear finite element problems, where the nonlinearity is caused by material nonlinearity and by large strains.
