About the course
The course is composed of one introductory session and 5 laboratory sessions. These sessions are compulsory. The students must organize themselves in groups of two.
Each lab has assigned two weeks to conduct the experiments for the whole group. Each team will do a laboratory exercise within the slot of two weeks. Typically, the lab exercise would last one full day and there will be some preparatory exercises. Prior to the laboratory session, the responsible for the lab will give an overview of the research carried out at that particular laboratory, and specify the typical measurement techniques.
