Ship Design is the overarching topic in Naval Architecture and the fundamental component in marine transport systems, the core of the global economy. Research performed in all our other core areas provides solutions to here be synthesized to improve the ship design. We work with system modelling to find the best potential to reduce emissions. Wind propulsion solutions are developed to drastically reduce the fuel consumption. Innovative layouts and solutions to give a smoother operation of the vessel or accomplish specific missions.
