The department is joint between Chalmers and the University of Gothenburg and we are also present on two campuses.
Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is a joint department between Chalmers and the University of Gothenburg. This means that our researchers, teachers, and PhD-students do research and teach at both universities, and we often have students from both universities in our lecture halls. At the University of Gothenburg, we are part of the Faculty of Science and Technology.
The fact that the department belongs to two strong universities gives us unique opportunities for excellent education, research, and collaboration. Simply the best of two worlds!
