The department’s scientific profile in academic writing, higher education pedagogy, and learning involves participation in several national and international scientific networks and organizations.
Collaboration with universities and organizations
Collaboration between higher education institutions and participation in various scientific organizations within research and higher education is essential for promoting knowledge development, innovation, and societal progress. We collaborate with other universities, research institutions, and, in our case, also with other academic libraries. Furthermore, the department is part of several national and international networks.
Our involvement in academic networks enables the department’s researchers and teachers to participate in international networks, exchange ideas, and gain access to research infrastructure that may not always be available at a single institution. It also provides a platform for developing joint research projects and educational programs, thereby strengthening the relevance and quality of research.
Collaboration with other universities and academic organizations is a fundamental factor in creating an excellent higher education institution. Through cross-border and interdisciplinary cooperation, the department and Chalmers can enhance their position and contribute to knowledge formation on issues stemming from STEM research, thereby facilitating the translation of science into practice.
