Every year on April 30th the Chalmers Cortège departs from the university. The Cortège is deeply rooted tradition at Chalmers and in Gothenburg and dates back to 1909.

The Cortège departs from Gibraltarvallen at Chalmers campus at on April 30th at 18:15.

The year spectators can vote for the best construction in "Folkets pris" (the people's prize).
The voting opens on April 30th at 18:00
he Chalmers Cortège (Swedish: Chalmerscortègen) is an annual carnival parade held on Walpurgis Night (30 April) by students of the Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg.
The Cortège consists of around 1000 students and around 50 truck carriages, each carriage depicting—in a satirical and comic way—significant events that have taken place since the previous parade. The procession makes its way through the city centre, where it is seen by around 350,000 people each year.
