Keynote speakers
Prof. Jocelyn Bell Burnell, University of Cambridge, UK
Astrophysicist and pioneering scientist, Prof. Jocelyn Bell Burnell is best known for her discovery of pulsars as a graduate student - one of the most significant astrophysical findings of the 20th century. A dedicated advocate for women in science, she has received numerous awards for both her groundbreaking research and her efforts to improve diversity and inclusion in STEM.
Dr. Jessica Wade, Imperial College London, UK
A physicist and advocate for diversity in STEM, Dr. Jessica Wade specializes in materials science, particularly polymer-based electronics. Beyond her research, she is internationally recognized for her advocacy work, including increasing the visibility of underrepresented scientists through outreach and Wikipedia contributions.
