Abstract:

There is an increasing focus on AI in medical research and healthcare. The generally identified ethical aspects and principles of AI are particularly important when people's health is at stake. This presentation discusses ethical aspects of AI in a medical context, and an ongoing research project at Akademiska Hospital/Uppsala University is used as an illustration of how AI ethics is crucial in the context of medical research.
