Abstract:
This presentation aims to explore the challenges and opportunities that artificial intelligence (AI) presents in educational contexts. It emphasizes the critical need to advance AI literacy due to the rapid transformation of teaching and learning.
By highligting results from recent reseach studies the presentation will illustrate how both students and educators engage with AI while lacking critical and ethical awareness of its increasing influence on knowledge production and society at large. Hence, underscored is the urgent need to equip students and educators with these emerging competencies.
Ultimately, this presentation seeks to bridge theory and practice, promoting dialogue and action toward a more future-ready educational AI landscape.
