There are already good examples of well-functioning collaborations between Chalmers and the different administrations within urban development in the municipality of Gothenburg, and now the conditions are further strengthened – with a recent collaboration agreement for deeper cooperation and the first major joint activity.

On 31 January, we will meet for a half-day to explore the challenges of sustainable urban development and discuss opportunities for collaboration between academia and practice. The day is aimed at those of you at ACE who are interested in the possibility of collaborations with the municipality of Gothenburg in research and education.

During the day, we get to listen to, and participate in:

  • Problem descriptions and presentations from the city's administrations
  • Presentations from the research front in sustainable spatial planning
  • Conversations to establish contacts for continued and deepened cooperation

Welcome from 08.30 when coffee and breakfast sandwich is served. The programme ends at 12.30 with lunch.

A detailed program is available in the Swedish version of this page
