Abstract:
In this lecture, I will present my contributions to the field of Building Physics, focusing on innovative methodologies and performance indicators that address critical challenges in sustainable building technology. My research encompasses the development and validation of super insulation materials, retrofitting techniques for listed buildings, thermal energy storage solutions, green roofs, and AI-driven status assessment. By integrating numerical simulations, laboratory experiments, and full-scale field testing, I have advanced our understanding of material behavior under varying climate conditions. Additionally, my work on AI-driven status assessment and digital solutions aims to revolutionize building maintenance and construction practices, promoting environmental sustainability. Join me as I explore the intersection of building physics, artificial intelligence, and sustainable development, highlighting the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and the future directions of my research.
