Guest researcher programme

The Wallenberg Centre for Quantum Technology (WACQT) welcomes visiting researchers to its participating partner universities in Sweden. Support can be provided for shorter and longer visits. As a first step, please reach out to one of the WACQT Group leaders, or to the director of the guest researcher programme, Mats Granath, see contact information below.

The mission of our guest researcher programme is to create an interactive and creative environment for knowledge exchange. International experts from both academia and industry are invited for shorter or longer periods to interact with WACQT researchers and students. This is combined with workshops discussing important problems in quantum technology with particular relevance for WACQT.

In 2023 we will support a workshop on quantum algorithms, in addition to several long- and short-term visits.

For more information about the guest researcher programme, please contact:

Pursue a PhD or postdoc

For students looking for opportunities to pursue a PhD in quantum technology, please have a look at available openings to join the Swedish Graduate School on Quantum Technologies. We are also continuously looking for motivated postdocs, please have a look at the page Work with us for more information and open positions.

Go abroad

Researchers and students in Sweden looking to go abroad, please visit Entanglement Exchange – a web site that aims to facilitate the international exchange of students, researchers, and professionals in the field of quantum technology.
