2024-11-18

On Thursday November 14th CVA presented the concept program ”Sjukhusens allmänna lokaler – planering för att minska smittspridning” at the Swedish Health Care Facilities Network autumn conference. The conference program also covered hygiene, contamination, planning of wards and co-organizing of hospitals in Norway. Where does knowledge come from

2024-11-13

There is an apparent need for structured knowledge development in the healthcare planning and construction sector. Much knowledge is tied to individuals and projects and there is a need for systematic validation and a professional discussion to develop best practice. Knowledge does not appear by itself, it is created. This was the outset for presentations at both the Region of West Sweden and Sykehusbygg in Norway. CVA contributed with perspectives and recommendations for development of best practice, a development requiring networks and organizations like CVA and others.

Dalslands sjukhus

Dalsland and future healthcare

2024-09-27

CVA took part in a workshop concerning Dalslands hospital om September 25th. The background being that the hospital has empty facilities that could be used by different actors in the health care sector. The aim of the workshop was to create realistic scenarios of what a future development could look like and what challenges that need to be addressed. A starting point for CVA was the material and data from the report ”De små sjukhusens lokalpotential när vården ställer om – en diskussion”. This question is also coming up on the agenda for the conference Smart hospitals to be held in Stockholm in October.
