The CHAIR theme AI for Scientific Data Analysis offers:
– Scholarships for conferences for early stage researchers
– Fellowships to invite collaborators for international grants.
Researchers at Chalmers and University of Gothenburg can apply for the grants. Precedence will be given to researchers who are already engaged within CHAIR, and especially within the theme AI for Scientific Data Analysis. Applications will be revised monthly on a continuous basis.
Scholarships for conferences for early stage researchers
A limited number of scholarships to cover partly the cost of PhD students and postdocs to attend conferences and present their research.
The recipients will then present what they learned at the conference at the monthly events organized by the CHAIR Theme AI for Scientific Data Analysis.

Fellowships to invite collaborators for international grants
A limited number of fellowships to cover partly the cost of inviting international collaborators to develop and submit EU/international/collaborative grants.

This theme is about utilizing the power of AI as a tool for scientific research. AI can be applied to, and potentially speed up, discovery and utilization in a variety of research disciplines, such as microscopy, physics, biology, chemistry, and astronomy.
