Every autumn, Chalmers has an annual celebration to honour the university with a solemn ceremony where education, research and utilization at the university are highlighted.
The annual celebration is an academic ceremony on par with the Doctoral degree conferment ceremony and Inauguration of professors. The celebration takes place close to 5 November, the date when Chalmers School of Art and Crafts was inaugurated in 1829.
Employees, students, and friends of Chalmers are invited to the celebration, which will feature speeches from the President, musical entertainment, and the presentation of several awards.
