Alumni of the Year

<p>The Alumni of the Year – For a Better World aims to recognize an alumnus or alumni who, without personal gain, have worked to make the world a better place. This could be through helping others, inspiring interest in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics), or in other ways, within or beyond their professional life, contributing to positive change.</p>
<h3>Criteria for the award:</h3>
<ul>
<li>The individual(s) must be an alumnus/alumni from Chalmers University of Technology.</li>
<li>The individual(s) have, within or outside their professional role:
<ul>
<li>created or developed projects for the benefit of others.</li>
<li>inspired and fostered an interest in STEM among younger generations.</li>
<li>contributed to the realization of Chalmers’ vision for 2041.</li>
</ul>
</li>
</ul>

<h3>Information about nominations:</h3>
<ul>
<li>It is possible to nominate someone for the award anonymously, but we encourage you to provide your email address so we can contact you if we have any questions or need additional information about the nominee.</li>
<li>You can submit multiple nominations.</li>
<li>You can nominate more than one person at a time.</li>
<li>Nominations are saved, so you don’t need to nominate the same person every year.</li>

<p>The Alumni of the Year – Rising Star category was established to recognize professional achievements of younger alumni.</p>
<p>Criteria for the award:</p>
<ul>
<li>The individual(s) must be alumni of Chalmers University of Technology, having graduated within the past 10 years.</li>
<li>The individual(s) have:
<ul>
<li>Founded a company that demonstrates great potential and has proven its feasibility.</li>
<li>Achieved a prominent position within an established company.</li>
<li>Achieved professional success in another way, such as through innovative product design or architectural work.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
